Here we have a man who's at complete peace with his material - but who can inject real fire into his performance. His recent appearance at FOTM was typical of his skill and warmth... we had some lovely John Clare pieces, some dazzling instrumental work on both guitar and flute and some remarkably varied signing. Try his albums "Drive Old Puss Away" and the new one, "Jackdaw Grooves."
