George appeared at FOTM a year or so ago. As I get older, I feel the hand of cynicism holding tighter... but George's beautiful "Life's Eyes" album is a balm in times of weariness and worry.

I knew I would be listening to an album that would be well crafted; I knew there would be fine production and great backing instrumentals; I knew the songs would be wonderfully well written... but I was not prepared for the huge emotional impact this CD would have on me.

Two tracks had tears trickling down my face at the utter beauty and nobility at their core... I dare you not to be moved by them.

One is an accompanied piece called "One by One" that laments lost friendship - the other a piece that gorgeously conjures up moments from George's past. It's called Tsamiko". Listen and feel that life can be much better than just O.K.!
