Hi Everyone

"Folk on the Moor" is based at the Moorland Hotel at Wotter. There is a large carpark at the rear of the hotel. We have a great selection of guests booked and run Open nights on other Sundays.

12th October - Tom McConville

ace fiddler, Tynesider Tom has graced the folk world for over 50 years with his virtuoso playing, traditional and contemporary songs and dry humour. His musical partnerships and accompaniments range from Bob Fox and Chris Newman to Barbara Dickson and Stephan Grappelli and he has been a major influence on the playing of Seth Lakeman. He was Radio 2 Folk Musician of the Year in 2009. £12

26th October - Kip Winter

Kip Winter is a highly versatile singer with “a voice to die for”, having sung everything from opera to soul and jazz, but she is happiest singing folk and blues. Dave Wilson is a leading lyricist and together they produce first-class songs, blending superb, often hard-hitting lyrics with
stunning harmonies, musicianship and humour, expertly accompanied on a variety of instruments. £12
